My New Addiction: Twilight

Twilight (2008)

Okay, so the movie Twilight was released in 2008, I was not enthusiastic about watching it since everyone gave it a big deal, and I felt that it was just too much. So I never thought of it.

The Twilight Saga: New moon was released in 2009, same feeling, nothing caught me about it, and since I didn’t watch the first movie, never had it on my list of movies.

The Twilight Saga: the Eclipse was released in 2010, when it was released, it felt like yesterday when the previous movies were released. So I lost track of how many movies were already released! Thus, same as before, I didn’t watch it.

The Twilight Saga: the Eclipse

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn was released on November 2011. From the first time I watched the trailer, I knew that I definitely am watching this movie. There was something that caught me about the trailer and there was no way I was missing this movie.

I told my friend about my intentions, thus he suggested watching the first three movies before we watch the fourth. I wasn’t very enthusiastic about the idea, since I thought of watching the Breaking Dawn first then watching the other, just going backwards. I kinda enjoy it like this, but then again, since I were to watch it with my friend, I didn’t mind.

So, my friend bought the first two movies as DvDs, and we decided to watch the first on Monday (last Monday). We prepared ourselves, did popcorn, some drinks, and we were set.

3, 2, 1, and here we go…

The Twilight Saga: The New Moon

As I was watching the movie, I was so captivated by the plot, by the idea of Stephenie Meyer (the author); I was just full of the movie!

I enjoyed the Twilight so much that I made my friend sit with me to watch the New Moon on the same night! YES on the same night!

I honestly did not enjoy The New Moon as much as Twilight (the first movie), but it was not bad. I felt that it wasn’t a movie, for me it was a transition, and I hate transitions, I couldn’t wait to see what happens in the Eclipse.

I was so excited about the sequel so I researched it online, read the plot of all four movies, I just couldn’t get enough of Twilight, and I loved it!

I was able to wait till Thursday (due to other obligations and bla bla) then my friend and I watched the Eclipse.

The Twilight: The Eclipse was just so perfect, it was what I (as a viewer) wanted to watch, out of the ordinary, just perfect.

The Twilight saga: the Breaking Dawn (Part I)

So on Friday, I went to watch The Twilight: Breaking Dawn with my brother and friend. Since I had read the entire plot, all the reviews, I knew what I was expecting, it was just perfect.

The movie seemed never ending. Why? Since I knew what was to happen next, but it wasn’t happening! UNTIL the second the movie ended!

What! Wait! What happened?! Weren’t we supposed to see the daughter Renesseme grow up…. Till I noticed that the reviews I read about the breaking dawn were about both parts!

Ah! Maaaan! Now I have to wait another year!

It would have been better to wait till next year to watch all five of them!

But since it’s too late, I decided to buy myself the book and read the second half of the Breaking Dawn.

So Did you watch Twilight?!

   a. No! Then what are your waiting for!

   b. Yes! Do you like it?!

More on why I like Twilight — COMING TOMORROW!!! Or no wait a second, THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW! You know, just to keep you interested!

  1. are you out of your mind? are you serious? i thought you had taste! this movies sucks big time, no story no plot no acting no nothing! no moral of the story? so what’s the moral of the story again?? get addicted to something that helps you prosper and grow, that teaches you new ideas, new morals, new frontiers!

    1. Okay…take it easy…It’s good that we are on the web! If we were live, I sure was punched by now!

      Take a deep breath…

      1, 2, 3,,,

Now, thank you for previously thinking that I have taste! I am faltered! 😀

Let me remind you that it’s all about perspectives, please read a blog post I have writen long long time ago about Perspectives and more recent one about Separate Realities.

You know, each person sees things differently.
I scheduled a post regarding why I enjoyed the movie, it will be posted tomorrow 6:30am, please check it out!

I am waiting for your comments!
      Have a nice day!

      REMEMBER: it’s all about perspectives

  2. Just wanted to let you know that there are others with the addiction. I am a 44 yr old male and I too am feeling the Twilight addiction. Though for me it has been the audio books due to being a parent with little free time to sit and read the books. The movies were very enjoyable but given their time constraints can never really portray the books to everyone’s satisfaction. Thanks again and Happy New Year. 🙂

    1. Thank You Jeffery for taking the time to comment!
It’s good that you feel the same way! I actually received the Twilight saga collection of books, and I read the first book in 5 days!
Something about this story makes you want to read more of it!By the way, I wrote another post about the reasons behind my addiction( ) check it out and tell me you like the same reasons!
Have a nice day, and a nice new year!!!
