Why did women ask for equality?

To all women out-there, why did you ask for equality? Did you ever think that it might back-fire on you? I will not talk about how things evolved to reach the point where it is now; I will only say how unequal women are today:

1)      You have an 8 hour job like men, same responsibilities, same stress, … sometimes less pay

2)      You come home, we have a house to take care of, cleaning, cooking, ironing, you name it…

3)      You have kids to raise, who when they accidentally act out, you get blamed for a lousy job in raising them

4)      You are expected to stay sexy, good looking, … or else your husband is okay to cheat on you

Richard Emil Miller (1875-1943) Young Woman Sewing

Hello! What were you ladies thinking!? Did you think of this day where you will work more than men and have more obligations than they do? All they need to do is get some money to pay some bills, because you are already paying with them, and watch TV.

What happened to women sitting home all day learning sewing, violin, pottery, having morning brunches with other women… having someone care for their homes, kids, cooking… When they used to wear nice dresses… and are always good looking.

When was the last time you looked at yourself in a mirror? Is that the face you want to see?

Anyway, this was just a wakeup call for all working women out there!

Cheers to you all!

  1. What’s Taking place i am new to this, I stumbled upon this I have found It absolutely helpful and it has helped me out loads. I’m hoping to give a contribution & help different users like its aided me.
    Good job.

  2. i think you got it wrong, its not the women activist that brought this into existence but shity finicial state of the world as a whole.

Most women have jobs not because some women yelled “we are equal” , but simply because a men can no longer support the family alone (finicially). Thus women became somehow obliged to help out to have a ‘suitable normal’ life that they want. Women love shopping, make the calculation…

4 is simply ridiculous, ‘its okay to cheat’, its never okay to cheat… you should bash his head with a ‘tangara’ when he comes back home…
aslan, if married people had any decent communication skills and an IQ higher than -23 things wont go that far.

and the trick about beauty is that you should ‘feel’ beautiful instead of wearing tons of make up and buy endless jewelry and what not, a facade to the emptiness inside. If i want a beauty i would buy a statue…

when i first read your about me, u sounded like a really smart girly, u dissapoint 😛 anyhow just wondering:
“Ever since I was a little child, I wanted to become a doctor, travel to Africa and help needy people.

Thank God, I didn’t go into medicine; instead, I studied International Affairs and Diplomacy”
