Cooking noodles can be very easy yet also very complicated; it depends on how you cook it. You can cook it all from scratch, or you can get ready made foods to help you.
This recipie was not created from scratch, the noodles were bought to be instantly cooked and the vegetables were bought frozen.
For me, that’s an ideal recipe for the time that I have in hand.
So if you like what you see, here’s how you can cook it:
– noodle pack
– fresh garlic
– fresh ginger
– fresh onions
– frozen vegetables
– corn flower
– soy sauce
– sesame oil
1. Start by boiling the noodles in hot water. Be careful not to over boil them for they will stick( as was the case with me)
2. As the noodles are being boiled, chop and fry the onions, ginger and garlic. I used two garlic cloves, one small onion and a very small ginger piece.
Remember the noodles as you are cooking the vegetables. As soon as you notice a change in color and swelling in size, turn off the stove then drain the noodles and keep them aside till you finish the vegetables.
3. Get the frozen noodles vegetables mix, then add it to the fried onions, ginger and garlic. Afterwards, add the say sauce, sesame oil and corn flower in a small bowl, mix till corn flower melts, then add to the vegetables. I added a small teaspoon of corn flower, you don’t need a lot, you need what it takes to make the sauce thickens.
By the way, you can add chicken or shrimps to this recipe. You can get creative with some cashew nuts…
This is the mix that you get.
4. Mix it with the noodles with the vegetables. You can add some more soy sauce, depending on taste.
