Egg Sandwich on the Rocks

It’s a rainy Sunday, I am sitting home working on my thesis, I don’t feel like cooking, nor do I feel like ordering something… I decided to do my own homemade Egg Sandwich! I ended up eating it almost without any accompaniments so I decided to call it my way “Egg Sandwish on the Rocks!”

The ingredients are simple:

  1. Baguette bread
  2. Butter or vegetable oil 
  3. Grated cheese (any type)
  4. 2 eggs 
  5. Lettuce
  6. Salad sauce (I used oil, lemon, garlic and salt)
  7. Salt and pepper for the eggs

Here’s what you need to do!  1. Preheat the oven, add the grated cheese on the bread, then bake until the cheese melts. Add butter or oil for a crispy bread!  2. Add butter or oil to a frying pan, once heated add the two eggs, season with salt and pepper.  3. On the side, cut lettuce and season with your favorite sauce. I used oil, lemon, garlic, salt and pepper.

4. Once the bread is crispy and the cheese has already melted, add an egg on each bread.   5. Serve your sandwich with your side salad.  6. Enjoy this easy homemade egg sandwich on the rocks!
